FlowRun table (elastic) in Dataverse doesn't have any flow run records created.

Our FlowRun and FlowEvent system (elastic & standard) dataverse tables in the following 2 environments aren't displaying any rows even though we have many solution-aware flows running every day. We have the 'Cloud flow run history in Dataverse' setting enabled in both environments too (Settings>Products>Features).

System Tables:

  1. FlowRun
  2. FlowEvent

Both tables were populating in our previous environments, so we don't understand why they're not populating in these environments.

This is how it must look:

This is a what we have in the current/new environment for DEV:

Also, in Admin Center we have these values active:

    Dear Gizeh Triana Cardenas
Welcome and thank you for sharing your issue in the Q&A forum.

Based on the information you described, I understand that you're experiencing inconsistent behavior with the FlowRun and FlowEvent tables in Dataverse. You noticed that they are not displaying any rows, even though you have numerous Cloud flows running daily and the 'Cloud flow run history in Dataverse' feature is enabled.

Based on my research, the issue could stem from several reasons related to environment configuration, flow type, or licensing. The FlowRun and FlowEvent tables are specifically used to store the run history of Cloud flows (Power Automate) in Dataverse when the feature is enabled.

    Here are the potential causes:

    • Flow Type: Not all Cloud flows record their run history into Dataverse.
    • Environment Scope: The history is only recorded for flows created within or belonging to that specific Dataverse environment.
    • Solution-Aware Status: Although the flows are solution-aware, there might be specific licensing or connection requirements.
    • Licensing: Recording data into Dataverse may require a Dataverse license or Power Automate Premium (formerly Per User/Per Flow) license. Developer/Trial environments may have limitations.
    • Delay: There might be a slight delay between when the flow runs and when the data is written to Dataverse.

Please try a couple of workarounds to confirm this:

    • Ensure the flow is in a solution and run it after enabling the feature.
    • Re-check the TTL (Time to Live) setting (14 days or 28 days).
    • Create a simple flow within a solution, test run it and then check the tables.

However, while we are always ready to help on this forum, your question is specific to a Power Platform/Dynamics 365 product. For the best and most in-depth support, I would highly recommend posting your question on the official Dynamics 365 Community. The experts and MVPs there specialize in these product-specific issues and will be better equipped to help you.

    I hope this explanation helps!

There are more than 86 flows published in the solution, at least. This time we created a new Dev environment (Sandbox) and this table doesn't show any flow run in the whole env. In our old dev environment (Developer) works very well showing every single flow run in the env. Also, we checked all the features that we need for this in Admin Center in the new env.
