I'm currently on Windows 11 and I want to downgrade back to Windows 10 but my laptop was originally on a 32 bit version of Windows 10 and I want to downgrade to a 64 bit version without having to get a new activation key. do I install the 32 bit software then upgrade to a 64 bit one or can I simply downgrade to a 64 bit version of Windows 10?

    Hi,

It is not possible to update 32-bit version to 64-bit one. You may just install Windows 10 64-bit. If your old Windows 10 was preinstalled by laptop manufacturer, new installation will use the product key stored in BIOS.
