I joined the Microsoft 365 Developer Program to test Azure App Registration for Bing Ads API access, but I didn’t receive a sandbox tenant. Can someone enable it or advise?

    Hi Davide Redemagni

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum and sharing your experience.

I understand how confusing this feels when you’ve joined the Microsoft 365 Developer Program but don’t see a sandbox tenant.

To clarify, joining the program doesn’t always grant an E5 sandbox immediately. For your guidance: Set up a Microsoft 365 developer sandbox subscription | Microsoft Learn.

However, the program offers a Microsoft 365 E5 developer subscription to qualified members, with automatic renewal based on active development use. Visual Studio Professional/Enterprise subscribers qualify and can link their subscription for an auto‑renewing sandbox; eligibility is also available to specific Microsoft partner program members. These requirements are detailed in the Microsoft 365 Developer Program FAQ. In particular, I recommend reviewing the following two key topics: User's imageUser's image

If you believe you meet all the eligibility criteria but are still experiencing difficulties, the only way to resolve this is by contacting Microsoft Developer Support through the following link: Services Hub. Please note that this portal (Services Hub) is a paid ticket and access is subject to certain conditions, which you can review here: Services Hub sign in FAQs | Microsoft Learn.

Please let me know how you get on, as your feedback is valuable to the community.

If you joined the Microsoft 365 Developer Program and did not receive a sandbox tenant, you may need to set up your subscription manually. After joining, you should go to your Microsoft 365 Developer Program dashboard, sign in with your Developer Program account, and select Set up subscription to create your new instant sandbox. If you encounter any issues during this process, ensure that you are following the steps correctly and that there are no technical issues affecting your account.

If you set up your instant sandbox between May 31, 2023, and June 5, 2023, there was a known technical issue that may have prevented access to your tenant. In this case, setting up a new instant sandbox as described above should resolve the issue.
