Hi @Matthew Wasco,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
Thank you for reaching out about the “Unknown participant is now joining” notifications in Microsoft Teams. I understand how these alerts can feel disruptive, especially in environments where users have different email domains.
After reviewing the situation, I've found that at this time, there is no configuration available to suppress these notifications. They are intentionally designed as a security measure to alert participants when someone joins without identifiable details, such as dial-in callers or external conferencing systems.
We understand this may be inconvenient, and we truly appreciate your feedback. To help influence future updates, we recommend submitting your suggestion through the Microsoft Feedback Hub. This platform allows Microsoft to gather user input and prioritize enhancements based on demand.
As community moderators, we kindly ask for your understanding that our access to internal development details is limited. Our primary role is to guide users toward the appropriate resources and support channels. While we may not have influenced product design decisions and have limited access to internal development details, we’ll continue doing our best to support you within the scope of our responsibilities.
