How do I leave a Active Directory tenant that I was added to but have no access to? It uses my personal none tenant email and I can kinda login to it when I switch directories, but if I try to leave the tenant it's asking for the email associated with the tenant which I don't have.

To leave an Active Directory tenant that you were added to, you typically need to have access to the email associated with that tenant. However, since you mentioned that you do not have access to that email, you may need to contact the administrator of the tenant directly to request removal. The administrator can remove your account from the tenant, which will effectively allow you to leave.

If you are unable to contact the administrator, you might also consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance in this matter, as they may be able to help you with the process of leaving the tenant without the associated email access.

Yes, this is expected behavior. You can’t remove yourself from a tenant if your account in that tenant is a guest and you no longer have access to the email that was used for the invitation.

There are only two ways to leave in this situation:

    1. The admin of that tenant must remove you. They need to go to Entra ID --> Users --> Guest users --> select your account --> Delete.

If you cannot reach the admin, your only option is to open a Microsoft support ticket and request removal. Microsoft can verify your identity and remove the guest object from the tenant.

There is no self-service way to leave a tenant when you can’t receive the verification email tied to that guest account.
