If you have forgotten your Windows login credentials and can only access Safe Mode, you can use the System Restore feature to log on to your account, provided you have a restore point from when you could log in successfully. Here are the steps you can follow:
- Insert the Windows installation media (DVD or USB) and restart your computer.
- When prompted, press any key to boot from the media.
- Select your preferences for language, time, and keyboard input, then click Next.
- Click on Repair your computer and select the operating system you want to repair.
- Choose System Restore and click Next.
- Select a restore point that was created before you lost access to your account and click Next.
- Confirm the disks you want to restore and click Next.
- Click Finish and confirm the restoration process.
- Once the process is complete, restart your computer.
After the restart, try logging in with your previous credentials. If you still cannot log in, you may need to create a new administrator account or reset your password using other recovery options available in Windows.
