    If all keys on your laptop are not working, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check for Updates: Ensure that your OEM drivers are up to date. You can do this by going to Settings > Windows Update and checking for any available driver updates.
    2. Keyboard Troubleshooter: Use the built-in keyboard troubleshooter in Windows. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters and select Keyboard.
    3. Reboot Your Laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues.
    4. Check for Physical Issues: Make sure there are no obstructions under the keys and that the keyboard is clean. If it’s a removable keyboard, try connecting it to another device to see if it works.
    5. External Keyboard Test: If possible, connect an external USB keyboard to see if it functions correctly. This can help determine if the issue is with the laptop's keyboard itself.
    6. Reset Keyboard Settings: Sometimes, resetting the keyboard settings to default can help. You can do this through the Control Panel under Ease of Access.

    If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to consider hardware repair or replacement.

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    This may be a software or hardware related issue.

    I suggest doing the following:

    If you are using Windows 11, run the Keyboard Troubleshooter as instructed below.

    (This also works on Windows 10. I'm suggesting this method because it's not available in the way suggested by AI on Windows 11.)

    1. Press Windows + R, type msdt.exe -id KeyboardDiagnostic, and press Enter;
    2. The Keyboard Troubleshooter window will open. Follow the on-screen instructions.

    If it persists, reinstall the keyboard driver:

    1. Open "Device Manager" (Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager);
    2. Expand "Keyboards";
    3. Right-click on the keyboard and select "Uninstall Device";

    (If it doesn't have the keyboard name, it will probably be "HID Keyboard Device")

    1. Restart your PC and see if the issue is resolved.

    If the issue persists, please let me know.

    Feel free to ask back any questions.
