Log out of the Office apps, then restart your device and log back into the Office apps, is your new subscription then recognised correctly?

If not log into your Microsoft account on this link, do you see the new subscription listed there, and is the expiry date listed correctly?

To activate your Microsoft 365 subscription, follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account: Open a Microsoft 365 app (like Word or Excel) and sign in with the account that you used to purchase the subscription.
    2. Check your subscription status: Go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and select Billing > Your products. Ensure that your subscription is active. If it isn’t, you may need to reactivate it.
    3. Run as administrator: Close all Microsoft 365 apps. Right-click on a Microsoft 365 app icon and select Run as administrator. If prompted, activate Microsoft 365 Apps.
    4. Update Microsoft 365: Ensure that your Microsoft 365 is up to date. Open a Microsoft 365 app, go to File > Account, and select Update options > Update now.
    5. Use the activation troubleshooter: If you're still having issues, you can run the Microsoft 365 activation troubleshooter. Open the Get Help app and follow the instructions to resolve activation issues.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider checking if your Microsoft 365 license is assigned correctly or if you need to redeem a product key if applicable.
