Is it possible to see participation metrics after a Teams meeting?

In Microsoft Teams, the attendance report provides information about who attended a meeting, including join and leave times, but it does not include detailed speaker metrics such as who spoke, how long, or how often. Currently, the attendance report is primarily focused on attendance and engagement metrics, which include actions like unmuting, turning on cameras, and raising hands during the meeting.

For detailed speaker metrics, Teams does not offer a built-in feature to export this kind of information directly from the meeting reports. However, organizers with a Teams Premium license can access engagement data that captures how attendees interacted during the meeting, but this still may not provide the specific speaking metrics you are looking for.

If you need detailed participation metrics, you may need to explore third-party tools or solutions that can integrate with Teams to provide enhanced reporting capabilities.

Currently, Microsoft Teams only provides an Attendance Report, which shows the join and leave times for each participant. However, the feature to export a consolidated report of speakers (such as who spoke, how long, and how often) is not officially supported. 

The reason is that Teams does not yet have a built-in mechanism to analyze and aggregate voice data into a tabular report. Speaker information only appears in meeting transcripts or recordings, and there is no integrated tool to export this into a detailed report. 

I think your idea is excellent, and I fully support it. Having detailed speaker analytics would not only help organizations better understand participation and engagement but also enhance collaboration and meeting effectiveness across the community. This type of feature could significantly improve the overall user experience for Teams customers, and we believe it would be a valuable addition to the platform.

Just wanted to follow up in case anyone else is looking for this. I couldn’t find any built-in way to export speaker analytics from Teams, but I came across SpeakerAnalyzer.com and it solved my problem.

You just upload the .vtt transcript from the meeting, and it gives you detailed metrics like speaking time, word counts, and how often each person spoke. Worked great for what I needed.
