    Hi Lenny,

Thank you for reaching out about your second monitor not being detected after startup I understand how frustrating it can be when your setup doesn’t work as expected especially if you rely on multiple screens for productivity. This issue often happens due to display settings, connection problems or outdated drivers.

To resolve this start by checking that all cables and adapters are securely connected and the monitor is powered on with the correct input source. Next press Windows + P to cycle through display options or go to Settings select System select Display and click Detect to see if Windows recognizes the monitor. Updating your graphics drivers through Device Manager or your PC manufacturer’s support page can also help as outdated drivers are a common cause. If the problem persists try restarting your laptop or releasing residual power by disconnecting all cables and holding the power button for 30 seconds before reconnecting.

Could you confirm if the monitor works when connected to another device or if the issue only occurs after startup?

I hope this answer is helpful if you have further questions feel free to reply back

    Regards,

    Marcelo
