keyboard on laptop doesnt work after installing windows11

keyboard on laptop does not work after windows 11 update was installed. An external keyboard plugged into a usb port does work.

    • Power reset/cycle your Laptop.

    shut down the computer.

    then unplug your adapter for 30 seconds

    Press the power button for 10 seconds to turn it off

    then plug in your adapter.

    then power on your computer.

    and observe if the system stabilizes.

    • Uninstall the keyboard drivers

    Press the Windows key + X

    Select the Device Manager

    Expand Keyboard

    Then uninstall the keyboard drivers

    restart the computer.

    • Install pending driver updates Go to Settings > Windows Update > Advance options>Optional Update Then download and update the drivers.
