Microsoft Edge randomly stopped opening today. I have repaired the app, but it didn't work.

    Hi,

    • If you're using a VPN or antivirus program, try temporarily uninstalling it to see if the problem goes away.
    • If not, try Clearing Edge cache & cookies: Start Edge, click 3 dots, go to Settings > Choose privacy, search and service > Scroll down to Delete browsing data > Under clear browsing data. Select all, Clear now.
    • Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog, then type:

    %localappdata%\Microsoft\Edge\

Create a backup of the User Data folder and save it to a different location.

Afterwards, delete the original folder at the path above.

Please check if this resolves the issue.

If the issue still persists, try resetting Edge: Start Edge, click 3 dots > Settings > Reset settings > Restore settings to their default values > Reset.

    Restart your computer and check.

I can't get to the three dots, as the window will not launch.
