Recovery of Audio/Visual in the Video File

Hi everyone,

I have a few video files stored in SharePoint that appear to play normally but show only the transcript unfolding in real time there’s no actual audio or visual content.

I’ve checked one of the files (around 7.5 MB, 1920×1080 resolution), and while it plays as an MP4, it seems the audio and/or video streams might not have been captured correctly.

Does anyone know if there’s any way to recover the original media.

I have tried external methods like downloading the file and trying in Sream and external software, reparing using external sites like fix.video, video replair etc - doesn't work!!

Appreciate any guidance or next steps to confirm whether these recordings are recoverable.

    Dear @Ankita

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

May I ask a few details to better support you:

Is this file a meeting recording that was automatically saved in the channel, or a video you stored elsewhere and later uploaded to SharePoint?  Have you opened this file before? If yes, did it play normally at that time, or did you already see the same issue?  Or was it working normally before and only recently started showing this problem?

This information will help me identify the cause and suggest the right next steps.

    Looking forward to your response!
