I have attempted to unblock macros on Powerpoint by adding the site I downloaded it from as a trusted site, I've also gone into security settings and checked unblocked. Microsoft Security is still blocking macros. How can I fix this?

To fix the issue of Microsoft Security blocking macros in PowerPoint, you can try the following steps:

    1. Ensure the Site is Trusted: Double-check that the site from which you downloaded the PowerPoint file is indeed added as a Trusted Site. You can do this by going to Control Panel > Internet Options > Security > Trusted Sites and verifying the list.
    2. Check Local Intranet Zone: If the file is located on a network share, ensure that the location is added to the Local intranet zone. This can help in allowing macros to run without being blocked.
    3. Remove Mark of the Web: If the file has the Mark of the Web, you can remove it by right-clicking the file, selecting Properties, and checking the Unblock checkbox on the General tab. If this option is not available, you can use the PowerShell cmdlet Unblock-File to remove the ZoneId value from the file.
    4. Group Policy Settings: If you are in an organizational environment, check if there are any Group Policy settings that might be enforcing macro blocking. You may need to consult your IT department if this is the case.
    5. Open in Desktop App: If the file was downloaded from OneDrive or SharePoint, ensure that you are opening it using the Open in Desktop App option, as this may prevent the Mark of the Web from being applied.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue with macros being blocked in PowerPoint.
