Hi @Service,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention following the 5.4.210.0 update of Teams. We understand how inconvenient a mirrored, pinned self‑view can be, especially when in‑room text like nameplates or whiteboards needs to display correctly.
To help us assist you effectively, could you share a few details:
- Is the behavior consistent across all rooms or only specific ones?
- Have any device policies or custom configurations been applied recently?
While we wait for your answer, here are some steps you can try:
1/ Pre‑join adjustment in Teams
Open Teams desktop app > click the three dots next to your profile > Settings
In Settings, select Devices > turn the toggle next to "Mirror my video" on or off to match your preference.
2/ In‑meeting adjustment
Select the three dots (More) > Video effects and settings > Select the Setting tab > turn the toggle next to "Mirror my video" on or off to match your preference.
3/ Contact Microsoft support
If the issue persists after trying these steps, the best next step is to reach out to your IT administrator to submit a support request to Microsoft for deeper backend review. A technical support engineer can then initiate a remote session to examine the situation, validate backend settings, and run any necessary synchronization tools to resolve the issue. If further analysis is needed, they can escalate the case to a specialized team for deeper investigation.
