When I print, I always find a copy 1. Many times it will not allow me to select the primary TR4700 series as a default.

The print dialog box says the doc is spooling.

CMD prompt to services box, then to "print spooling" and stop.

CMD Prompt to spool folder, into Printer, and try to delete spooling job. Most of the time it says it's open with windows, which I have no clue where because I closed it all out, and tried in the print dialog box.

I go back to turn the spool back to start, and try another method to print. I have called canon, they suggested I chat with windows.

Hi Johnny, thanks for reaching out. Are you having this issue with all PDFs or only some files?

To fix it, make sure your Canon TR4700 driver is the latest from Canon’s site, set the TR4700 as your default printer in Settings> Devices> Printers & scanners, and restart the Print Spooler service by stopping it, clearing any files in C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS, then starting it again.

Try printing from Microsoft Edge or Adobe Reader. If it still fails, I recommend removing the printer and reinstalling it using the official driver.
