On most laptops, you can take a screenshot by pressing PrtScn (Print Screen) to capture the whole screen. If you only want the active window, press Alt + PrtScn.

If you’re using Windows 10 or 11, the easiest way is Windows key + Shift + S. This opens the Snipping Tool so you can select the area you want to capture.
