I have been locked out of my xbox for 5 weeks. I can not get back in, I try every day and it keeps having me input personal info and then tells me not enough info. How do I get someone real to help me with my account. I have had this account for over 10 years, since i was a kid. I have 1000’s of dollars of stuff purchased on my account. What do I do not to lose all my stuff.

If you're locked out of your Xbox account due to suspicious activity, you may need to go through the account recovery process. Here are some steps you can take:

    1. Self-Service Password Reset: If your organization enables it, you can use the self-service password reset feature to regain access. Visit the Password reset portal to initiate the process. You will need to verify your identity using security methods before changing your password.
    2. Contact Support: If self-service options do not work, you should reach out to Xbox Support directly. They can provide assistance and may be able to help you recover your account. You can find support options on the official Xbox website.
    3. Identity Verification: Be prepared to provide any necessary information for identity verification. This might include details about your account, recent transactions, or any other relevant data that can help prove your ownership of the account.
    4. Wait for Response: After contacting support, it may take some time for them to respond, especially if they need to verify your identity thoroughly.

It's important to keep trying to reach out to support, as they are the best resource for recovering your account and ensuring you do not lose access to your purchases.

    Hello Jude Zack,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. It's my pleasure to help you today.

I understand how frustrating it can be when you are locked out of your account for a long time. This is a public forum, so moderators don't have access to your account for security and privacy reasons. However, I'll try to help as much as I can.

Before we proceed, can you please try to sign in to account.microsoft.com with your account and password? There are 2 main possibilities outcome in this:

    • It says your password is wrong: Please select "Forgot password" and follow the instructions to reset your password.
    • If the password is accepted, but you see a notification that your account has been locked: Your account and password is okay, however your account is locked due to suspicious activity as a security measure. In this case, please fill out the Account Reinstatement Form to unblock your account. This form is different than the password recovery form.
