Dear Windows Support Team,

I am experiencing a critical issue on my Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 1i laptop running Windows 11. Both my Wi-Fi and Ethernet adapters have disappeared from the system, and I am unable to connect to any network. This exact problem happened after windows force the windows updated.

I have already installed the available drivers, but the problem persists. I believe I may need the correct manufacturer recovery disk or official installation media that matches my laptop’s model to restore full functionality. heres the model:Screenshot (10)

    Hi, good day!

    • When was the last time it worked properly?
    • What specific update did you install recently?

Please let me know if you have tried the methods below.

    • Shutdown your computer

Unplug the power cable from the laptop for 30 minutes, then plug it in again and turn on.

    • Please try to run SFC and DISM to check for any system errors and corrupted files.

    • Open Device Manager

    Expand Network adapters

Right click on the Wireless driver then select Properties

    Click Power Management tab,

Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

    Restart your computer

    • Please try to Turn off Fast Startup

Press Start then search Control panel

Under View by > select Small icons

    Select Power Options

On the left side, click "Choose what power buttons do"

Click "Change settings that are currently unavailable"

Under Shutdown settings > Turn off fast startup

Power off the system then pull the power cable from the laptop, wait for 15 minutes.

    Power back on

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed by clicking "Add comment" below.

    Hi AZRIEL GERRY ARIFIN,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. I'm happy to help.

Please open Device Manager > View > Show hidden devices > check if Bluetooth device and Wi-Fi device are there on Bluetooth and Network adapters sections.

If they're there but have a Caution icon with them, then you probably have incompatible drivers.

Please go to Lenovo support and download the latest drivers that compatible with 25H2. Lenovo also recommends Lenovo Vantage to keep your computer up to date.

Disclaimer: Microsoft provides no assurances and/or warranties, implied or otherwise, and is not responsible for the information you receive from the third-party linked sites or any support related to technology.

If no Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices found on Device Manager, please hold down the Power button at least 10 seconds, your laptop will re-initiate devices then those devices can be recognized again.

After those steps, you may take a quick check for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices on your BIOS.

In case above troubleshooting does not help bringing back your devices, then you probably have hardware failure. Please contact Lenovo for RMA or repair service.

I hope that above information is helpful and can help you solve the issue.
