Hi, I urgently need help from a Microsoft support specialist because I am completely locked out of my Microsoft account:

[mod: PII redacted]@hotmail.com

How the problem started

I moved my SSD (with Windows installed) into a friend’s PC so I could use my own system on his hardware. When logging in, I accidentally typed my PIN/password incorrectly 1–2 times. Right after this, my Microsoft account became locked, and I have not been able to access it since.

What is happening now

My account is locked for security reasons

I cannot access Outlook/Hotmail or any Microsoft service

My own PC at home cannot log in either because it requires this account

I tried resetting my password, and it worked only once

After that, the password reset and phone verification options were disabled, and now I get: “This option isn’t available right now.”

I can no longer receive any verification codes on my phone at all

My second Microsoft account does still accept my phone number, so the issue is only with the locked account

I have used the ACSR form many times: https://account.live.com/acsr → It always says the information is not sufficient

I cannot receive emails or codes to recover the account

I have called Microsoft support in several countries, but the automated bot recognizes my number and hangs up before I can reach a human agent

I am effectively locked out of both my email account and my Windows PC

What I need

I need manual identity verification and for a real support engineer to unlock the account: [mod: PII redacted]****@hotmail.com

None of the automated recovery tools work anymore.

Please escalate this to a support person who can manually unlock the account.

Thank you.

Please note that this is the Microsoft Q&A Forum, so we don’t have access or authorization to recover your account. Here are the steps to contact Microsoft Support:

    1. Go to Contact Support.
    2. Type “recover account” > Scroll down and click Contact Support (please skip all troubleshooting steps or similar articles if you just want to contact Microsoft Support).
    3. Sign in > Select Products and Services > Microsoft 365 and Office > Manage Account Security > Chat with a support agent in your web browser.

I’m truly sorry again for this inconvenience. Feel free to ask me anything, and I hope you can regain access to your account soon.
