Hello,

I'm trying to test the new screenshot blocking feature for sensitive content via Edge Business,

Using Edge for Business with screenshot policy block enabled, and trying to access sensitive labeled content on my Onedrive, however snipping tool is able to screenshot without any issue.

any idea how to debug?

i've tried using canary build on edge, and enabled my o365 tenant to receive early access to new and preview features.

Hey there! It looks like you're having some trouble with the new screenshot blocking feature for sensitive content in Edge for Business. Here’s what you can consider to troubleshoot and debug the issue:

    1. Check Policy Enforcement: Make sure that the screenshot blocking policy is correctly configured and enforced for Edge for Business. The feature generally only blocks screenshots on pages or sites where a Copy:Block policy is active. It won't stop screenshots globally if the Copy:Block is not applied.
    2. Use the DisableScreenshots Policy: Administrators can use the DisableScreenshots policy to prevent screenshots across all sites in Edge for Business. However, note that this does not block OS-level tools like the Snipping Tool.
    3. Verify Settings in the Edge Management Service: Ensure your settings in the Edge Management Service portal are applied correctly. Sometimes, just toggling the settings can help.
    4. Cross-Browser Limitations: Understand that if you're using the screenshot functionality through another application or browser other than Edge, those settings might not apply.
    5. Testing Environment: It sounds like you’re testing with a Canary build, so ensure that any edge case or bugs present in that build are reported appropriately if you suspect it's a bug.
    6. Early Access Features: Since you've mentioned enabling early access features for your O365 tenant, make sure that all the functionalities related to the screenshot blocking are correctly rolled out and not hindered by any other settings or policies.

If you're still having trouble, consider gathering some additional information:

    • What specific policies have you implemented for Edge for Business concerning screenshots and sensitive content?
    • Are there any other third-party applications or tools running that could interfere with Edge’s behavior?
    • Can you confirm if the issue happens across all platforms or just specific ones (Windows, macOS, etc.)?
    • Have there been any recent updates to your Edge build or company settings that might have affected this feature?

Feel free to reach out if you need further help or specific instructions on changing any settings! Hope this helps!
