If you are unable to open Google Chrome on your new Microsoft Surface Pro, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check if Chrome is Installed: Ensure that Google Chrome is properly installed on your device. If not, download and install it from the official website.
    2. Restart Your Device: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix issues with applications not opening.
    3. Update Chrome: If Chrome is installed but not opening, it might be due to an outdated version. Try updating Chrome to the latest version.
    4. Clear Cache and Data: If Chrome opens but behaves unexpectedly, clearing the cache and data might help. You can do this by going to Settings > Apps > Chrome > Storage > Clear Cache.
    5. Check for Conflicting Software: Some software can interfere with Chrome. Make sure that no other applications are causing conflicts.
    6. Reinstall Chrome: If none of the above steps work, consider uninstalling Chrome and then reinstalling it.
    7. Check for Windows Updates: Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date, as updates can fix bugs and improve performance.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consult the Surface Support Portal for further assistance.
