Unable to Migrate VM from On-Prem to Azure, Migration fails at Mobility service installation and enabling replication.
I am migrating VM from Azure to Azure, I have installed and discovery appliance and discovered the servers which I have to migrate on Azure. Discovery appliance in showing as registered and Healthy on Portal.
I have downloaded/installed the Azure site recovery replication appliance from Azure Portal and followed the steps mentioned in the documentation. I am unable to register the source VM with Replication Appliance.
I tried to install Mobility agent on windows server, but it failed, after few tries I succeeded to generate the key and downloaded the configuration from ASR replication appliance and completed the configuration.
Link followed to register the VM with Replication Appliance.
- Still I am not able to migrate the source vm to azure, every time replication fails at the same stage shown in the screenshot.
- Not able to find the root cause of the problem, either make the mistake while registering the source machine, as I don't see any networking issue as both appliance and source server are in same network.
Questions:
How can I check whether Source VM is registered on replication appliance or not.
Why Mobility Agent Installation fails not working in GUI mode.
Could you please share the right link to download the Replication Appliance and Mobility Agents and step by step installation and configuration guide or link for Physical servers.
