Hi all

I want to set up MS Bookings, there are different roles to chose, but I can find anywhere information about the description of the roles. Do you have any idea where I can find it?

    Hi @SarahSco

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on the information you described, I understand that you are in the process of setting up Microsoft Bookings and are looking for detailed descriptions for the different staff roles available, as you couldn't find them in the interface.

In my environment, I see the roles listed as shown in the image below:

After doing some research, I found the official documentation that covers the specific permissions for each role. You can refer to the summary below:

Administrator Full rights to configure and manage Bookings

Team member Can manage bookings on their own calendar and their availability in the booking mailbox. When adding or editing a booking in their calendar, they'll be assigned as staff.

Scheduler Can manage bookings on the calendar and customer details. They have read-only access to settings, staff, and services.

Viewer Can see all the bookings on the calendar, but they can't modify or delete them. They have read-only access to settings.

Guest Can be assigned to bookings, but they can't open the booking mailbox.

For more detailed information, you can check this Microsoft article:
