To reactivate your Azure for Students subscription that has been disabled while creating a Virtual Network (VNet), you need to identify the reason for the deactivation. Common reasons include running out of credit, your credit expiring, or accidentally canceling your subscription.
- Check Your Credit: If you used all of your $100 credit or if it has expired, your subscription will be disabled. You can check your remaining credit by signing into the Microsoft Azure Sponsorships portal.
- Upgrade Your Subscription: If your credit has expired or you have used it all, you will need to upgrade your subscription to a pay-as-you-go plan. You can do this by contacting Azure support.
- Accidental Cancellation: If you accidentally canceled your subscription, you can reactivate it by contacting Azure support. Upon reactivation, you will still have access to any remaining credit and free services for 12 months from your sign-up date.
- Check for Past Due Bills: If your subscription is disabled due to a past due balance, you will need to settle any outstanding charges. You can follow the instructions in the Azure portal to resolve this issue.
After addressing the issue, it may take up to 24 hours for your subscription to be reactivated. If you experience delays beyond this, consider contacting Azure Billing Support for assistance.
