I get what you’re trying to do. The reason you can’t just save a meeting ID and password in your Teams calendar is that Teams doesn’t store meetings that way—it needs a full meeting link or an actual invite to create the event. When you join using an ID and password, that’s more of a one-time join method. The easiest workaround is to create a new calendar event in Teams or Outlook and paste the meeting link in the location or notes field. If you only have the ID and password, you’ll need to keep those in the notes section because Teams won’t auto-generate a clickable link from them.
Do you usually get a full meeting link from the organizer, or just the ID and password? If you can get the link, that’ll make scheduling much smoother.
