I recently bought a Minecraft gift for my friend in a different region, and he can't redeem it. I've been looking for a way to refund the gift, but I can't find a way to request a refund. I've already asked the ai chatbot and looked at my order history, but I can't request a refund. Is there any way to resolve this? I simply can't find a way to refund the gift after looking.

For Xbox digital games purchased through the Microsoft Store, you can request a refund by going to the Request a refund for digital games website.
Sign in with your Microsoft account on the link above and request a refund. Note that the refunds are typically issued for requests made within 14 days of the purchase date.
