So as I said in the title, my computer doesn't have the performance power plan or the power saver plan, this is really annoying because, I set the balanced power plan to hibernate at 10% battery, however since my power mode in settings is performance mode, it keeps going down all the way to 0%. This is extremely frustrating cuz letting the battery of my computer go all the way to 0 slightly reduces its full capacity. Someone please help!

Hi there! My name is David. It’s a pleasure to help you today.

Thank you for posting your question. I can recommend the following steps to restore the power plans and check the hibernation settings on your laptop.

    Restore the power plans:

    • Go to Start, type PowerShell > right-click and select Run as administrator.
    • In PowerShell, paste the following command and press Enter:
    powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

-Then check if you can now see the other power plans.

Validate the hibernation settings in the power plan:

    • In the battery options, adjust the settings so that when the battery is low or critical, the laptop goes into hibernation.

Let me know if the information shared was helpful. Best regards.
