Why is my Application for startup credits getting rejected

I am Swarnalatha
I am trying to enroll in the Microsoft for Startups program, but my application keeps getting rejected even after submitting correct documents, address, and bank details.

I believe the issue is due to selecting the wrong state during initial onboarding (I accidentally chose Andhra Pradesh instead of Telangana). My actual registered business address, payment details, and identity documents are all in Telangana.

We are a legitimate startup building sales systems and AI-driven solutions for B2B service companies. We fully meet the eligibility criteria listed here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-for-startups/application

We are ready to provide any documents needed for verification (business registration, address proof, ID, payment verification, etc.).

**Could you please help escalate my case for manual review and enable eligibility for the Microsoft for Startups credit?

We intend to deploy our infrastructure on Azure and would really appreciate your help.**

Thank you 🙏

    Hello @Swarnalatha M,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

It looks like you're having some trouble with your Microsoft for Startups application getting rejected, possibly due to the state selection mistake during onboarding. Here’s a quick rundown of what you can do to address this:

    1. Double Check Your Application Information:
      • Make sure all your details are correct, particularly the registered business address and that it aligns with the documents you've provided. If your documents reflect Telangana, ensure that matches the information in your application.
    2. Manual Review Request:
      • While I can’t directly escalate your case, I recommend that you contact Microsoft for Startups support through their official support channel. You can explain your situation clearly, mentioning that you've submitted all the required documents and would like a manual review due to the state selection error.
    3. Document Readiness:
      • Keep all relevant documents handy (business registration, identity proof, address verification) as they might request them for verification.
    4. Explore Other Credit Options:
      • If you're still having issues with your initial application, consider signing up for the Azure startup credits which allow you to get $1,000 in credits without any application process. This might give you quick access to Azure services while you sort out the Microsoft for Startups program.
