Why can't I read the online status of teams?

Today, after logging into Teams, I found that all online statuses were unreadable, but the message sending and receiving functions were normal. I tried reinstalling and logging out, but it still didn't work. What could be the reason for this?

I understand that after logging into Microsoft Teams today, you noticed all statuses of other users show only a circle, while sending and receiving messages works fine. You’ve already tried logging out and reinstalling, but the issue continues.

    To better assistance, could you please confirm following information:

    • Does it happen in Teams on the web or mobile app?
    • Are your Outlook calendar indicators (Busy/In a meeting) updating correctly?
    • Are all users affected or specific users?
    • Are you able to see your own presence status correctly?

    In the meantime, I recommend steps below:

    1. Open Teams on the web (https://teams.microsoft.com) to check if presence works there.
    2. Clear the Teams cache: Please follow the guide in this article Clear the Teams client cache

    If it affected to all users, I recommend you ask your admin raise ticket in Admin Center.
