First of all thank you very much for your helpful answer here:
how-to-purchase-license-key-for-vs-professional-2012 !

By any chance could you also give us a link to the older releases of Spec Explorer (3.4 or 3.5)? They are mentioned here on your site but unfortunately without a link :

That would be very very helpful since I try to reproduce an old result which has a tiny difference compared to the newest version (3.5.3146 link found here: 3.5.3146.0/vspackage).

    Thanks for reaching out.

Links and options for obtaining older Spec Explorer (3.4/3.5) builds.

    1. The current public landing for Spec Explorer is the Visual Studio Marketplace entry for “Spec Explorer 2010 Visual Studio Power Tool” (item 5089). You can use this page to download the last published 3.5.3146.0 VSIX/installer: Spec Explorer 2010 Power Toolmarketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=SpecExplorerTeam.SpecExplorer2010VisualStudioPowerTool-5089. (This is the canonical listing; older minor builds are typically not exposed individually once superseded.)
    2. If you specifically need artifacts around the 3.4 era, Microsoft published a related UML Extension for Spec Explorer 2010 – release 3.4. While it’s an extension (not the core installer), its page confirms the 3.4 release context and may be useful when reproducing older behavior or projects that depended on the 3.4 UML slice workflows: UML Extension for Spec Explorer 2010 (release 3.4)marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=SpecExplorerTeam.UMLExtensionForSpecExplorer2010.
    3. For historically referenced download pages that were retired when Spec Explorer moved to the Gallery/Marketplace, you can consult the Microsoft Download Center archive entry (read‑only) that points users back to the Gallery and confirms the retirement of older distribution points. This helps verify provenance when you’re documenting reproducibility: Spec Explorer 2010 – Download Center Archive (retired page)legacyupdate.net/download-center/download/22099/spec-explorer-2010-for-model-based-testing-in-visual-studio.
    4. If your scenario depends on a precise build number (e.g., 3.5.x earlier than 3146) that isn’t visible on the Marketplace page, the usual path is to open a case with Microsoft Support and request legacy VSIX/MSI retrieval. The Interop Test Suites repo discussions also indicate that teams occasionally document specific Spec Explorer version dependencies (e.g., 3.5 vs 3.6) and then update guidance when a build is no longer externally hosted: Interop TestSuites discussion on Spec Explorer version requirements → github.com/OfficeDev/Interop-TestSuites/issues/15.
    5. Important note on third‑party mirrors: There are non‑Microsoft aggregators listing “Spec Explorer 3.5” installers. For security and integrity, prefer Marketplace or Microsoft Support rather than third‑party mirrors; only use mirrors if you can validate hashes/signatures and understand the risk. The Marketplace entry above remains the safest publicly available source for 3.5.3146.0 (the build you already found). [marketplac...studio.com]

    Thanks for reaching out.
Spec Explorer versions 3.4 and 3.5 are older releases and may not be available on the current Microsoft download pages.

Please note that these versions are deprecated, so using the latest supported version is recommended for compatibility and security.
