Thank you for reaching out about the issue where Microsoft Edge does not recognize the password field and fails to suggest the saved password. I understand how frustrating this can be especially when you need to log in frequently for work and Chrome handles this without any problem.
This usually happens because some websites use custom code for login fields that Edge’s password manager cannot interpret correctly which prevents autofill from working as expected. To resolve this please check that password autofill is enabled by navigating to edge://settings/passwords and ensuring that “Offer to save passwords” and “Sign in automatically” are turned on.
If the settings are correct try deleting and re-saving the credentials for the site, clearing cache and cookies and disabling any extensions that might interfere. If the issue persists you can manually add the password by selecting Add password under the Passwords section in Edge settings or use Microsoft Authenticator for a smoother experience.
Could you confirm if this happens only on the professional register site or on other websites as well?
