    Hi Samantha Edmunds,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. I completely understand how frustrating it can be to see two charges for the same subscription, and I’m here to help get this sorted out quickly.

    Sometimes duplicate charges happen because:

    • A late payment and a regular payment posted close together.
    • Multiple subscriptions purchased by mistake.
    • Another account using the same payment method.

    Here’s what I recommend:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account and check your Order History.
    2. If you only see one charge there, it might be linked to another account using your card.
    3. If you confirm two charges, go to Payment options and select Investigate.
    4. You can also request a refund directly here: Request a refund

Refund requests are usually handled within 72 hours, and you’ll get updates along the way. You can also check the progress anytime in the Refund status tab. Once approved, it typically takes 3–5 business days for the money to show up on your original payment method. If the refund shows as issued but hasn’t appeared yet, give it a few extra days for your payment provider to finish processing.

For further assistance, please reach out to Xbox Support so they can guide you through any additional steps.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
