My client's PC WORD files won't open on my MAC office WORD. Here's the error message:
Word cannot open the document: user does not have access privileges
(134081450551664239_IRrevMHRev_(1 of 2...)
Are you receiving these files via email? Opening them from your client's cloud server? Please supply more details.
Are you trying to open the files while they are still attached to an email? If so, save the attachments to your hard disk, then open them from there in Word.
At least in WIndows, opening document attachments directly from email is a great way to lose any changes made to the documents, even when saved.

I’ve tried all the suggested fixes from the Mac forum and none of them work.
All programs are updated as well.
