APIM policy Azure Portal UI: liquid template not saving parse-date="false"

I have this policy section:
And can save and the parse-date="false" is adhered to.
However if I then open the same policy up again the parse-date="false" has disappeared. If I save this again the dates are then parsed incorrectly again i.e. parse-date="true"

To keep
parse-date="false"intact, try editing and saving your policy in the code view. Avoid switching back to the visual policy editor, as it seems that changes made there may not retain the settings as you want. -

There is only a code view in the Azure Portal APIM UI -

Apologies for the delay in response. I tried reproducing the approach and observed the same issue. Currently, I'm checking with our product team on the same. We will keep you informed on the progress and update you as soon as we have more details.
In the meantime, you can try using ARM template:
- Export your API policy as an ARM template
- Include
parse-date="false"in the XML there. - Deploy from ARM.
