If your computer is not resetting after you input the BitLocker recovery key, it may be due to several reasons. Here are some potential workarounds you can try:

    1. Input the BitLocker Recovery Key Again: Ensure that you are entering the correct recovery key. Sometimes, a simple input error can prevent access.
    2. Wait for Unlock Period: If you have entered the recovery key multiple times incorrectly, there may be a lockout period. Wait for this period to expire before trying again.
    3. Use Command Prompt: If you can access the command prompt from the recovery options, you can try unlocking the drive using the command:
         manage-bde -unlock <DriveLetter>: -recoverypassword <Password>

Replace <DriveLetter> with the appropriate letter for your drive and <Password> with your recovery key.
    4. Reinstall the Operating System: If the above methods do not work, consider reinstalling the operating system. This will require you to back up any data if possible.
    5. Contact Support: If none of these solutions work, it may be best to contact Microsoft support or your device manufacturer for further assistance.

Make sure to evaluate the risks associated with any changes you make to your system settings, especially when dealing with security features like BitLocker.

Hello jerrod dodd, thanks for posting this in our community.

If the recovery key is missing or the system is stuck in a loop, another option is a fresh Windows install from USB media. See this link, Download Windows 10 ISO File.

Click Download tool now on the page, then run MediaCreationTool.exe. When prompted, choose either Upgrade this PC now if you are repairing the current system or Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC. Follow the instructions to create a bootable USB (at least 8GB) or download an ISO file.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,

    John Oli
