Greetings, I received an MCSE in the late 1990's/2000 and am trying to get that tied to my account. It was, but then I didnt log into the system for a brief 10 years and now none of my certs show on the account. I utilized charlie at romad.com as my email since 1990 (before al gore invented the internet, lol). Is there a way you can see my certs and tie them off. Still utilizing the same email but when I logged in this morning it asked some "new account" type questions. Thank you for your time and attention.

To retrieve your MCSE certification and link it to your current account, you may need to follow these steps:

    1. Confirm Your Login Account: Ensure you are signing into the correct Microsoft Learn profile. If you have created multiple profiles under different login accounts, you might be accessing the wrong one.
    2. Check for Missing Certifications: If your certifications are not showing, review the credential requirements and ensure you have earned the credential by passing the appropriate exams. You can check the certification or exam details pages for this information.
    3. Contact Support: If you still cannot find your certifications, it may be best to contact Microsoft Credentials Support for assistance. They can help you with linking your old certifications to your current account.
    4. Account Activity: Remember that you must sign in to your Microsoft account at least once every two years to keep it active. If you haven't logged in for a long time, it might have affected your account status.

Since you mentioned that you are still using the same email, ensure that you are logging in with that email address. If you encounter any issues, reaching out to support would be the most effective way to resolve them.

    Hi @Charles Heidal ,

Thank you for sharing your details!

The reason your old MCSE certifications aren’t showing is because those records from the late 1990s/early 2000s are stored in a legacy system. Which means when you logged in after so many years, the system likely treated it as a new account, so it that's why didn’t automatically link to your original certification profile.

I recommend you reach out to Microsoft Support to manually connect your old records to your current account. Here's what to do:

    • Go to the official support page: Credentials support
    • Follow the steps in the "How to submit a support request" section.
    • Include your original email (Charlie at romad.com) and any details you remember, like approximate certification dates or old MCP ID if you have it.

Once you submit the request, there should be a waiting period before they reach out and verify your info.

The form should look something like this:
