Let's isolate the issue first to see if this is a general problem or just app-specific:
In your search bar, type Camera and press Enter.
Does it work there?
- If yes, look at the right side of your Chrome address bar for a small icon that looks like a camera with a red X or a warning sign. Click that icon, select Always allow camera access or Allow, and then press F5 to refresh the page.
- Open Google Chrome, click the three dots at the top right, go to Settings, select Privacy and security, click Site settings, choose Camera, make sure Google Meet is under Allowed, and if it is under Blocked, click it and change it to Allow.
