Clean install held up by missing driver

Trying to do a clean install of Windows 11, using a USB, on a Lenovo Ideapad (purchased about 1 yr ago).
Am stuck on "connect to a network" step

  1. Keep getting "no network driver found." Have tried both C: and D: drives. Our home wifi is very fast, with a strong signal, and working well on other devices.
  2. Downloaded "missing" driver from Lenovo website to USB; followed instructions from Microsoft on installing (including editing the registry).
  3. Received error message that was wrong driver [no other driver option available from Lenovo on their website]

What do I do now?
Thanks!
Mary

Sorry to hear that you have this situation, here are a couple of options that you could try:

1.- If the device has an Ethernet port, use it to connect the network

2.- Use a mobile hotspot with your phone connecting it to the device trough USB port

3.- You can adquiere a USB to ETHERNET adapter to bypass this

4.- Contact Lenovo support for them to share the proper driver with you
