You did the right thing by not opening the link inside the PDF.
Regarding the file itself, OneDrive works a bit differently with shared content. You won’t be able to permanently delete the file since you’re not the owner, but you can remove it from your view so it no longer appears in your Shared list.
Here’s what you can try:
- Go to the Shared section in OneDrive.
- Find that PDF, select it, and choose Remove from shared list.
- If available, you can also open Manage access and remove your access from there.
This won’t delete the file on the sender’s side, but it will stop it from showing up on your end.
