Hello @Laila,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum.
Based on the information you provided, it appears you would like to keep your team private and ensure that only team members have access.
For Microsoft Teams, you can update the team’s privacy settings from Public to Private:
- From your Team, right-click and select "Manage team".
- In the "Settings" tab, choose "Edit".
- Change the privacy setting to Private – Only team owners can add members, then click Done to save.
For SharePoint documents, you can manage permissions directly from the SharePoint site:
- In the Files tab of a channel, select Open in SharePoint.
- In the top-right corner, click the Settings gear icon and choose Site permissions.
- Select "Change how members can share", and ensure the last option is selected so that only site owners can share files, folders, or the site. This prevents members from accidentally sharing content or generating links for external users.
If that information does not meet your requirement, could you please give us more details? It would be great if you can provide us some screenshots about your concern. Please kindly remove any personal information from the screenshots.
