    If the System File Checker (SFC) found corrupt files but was unable to fix them, you can use the Deployment Imaging Service and Management Tool (DISM) to attempt repairs. Here are the steps for both online and offline repairs:

    Online Repair

    1. Open a Command Prompt with administrative privileges. You can do this by searching for "cmd" in the Start menu, right-clicking on Command Prompt, and selecting "Run as administrator."
    2. Run the following command to repair the Windows image:
         DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    3. After the DISM command completes, run the SFC command again:
         sfc /scannow

    Offline Repair

    If you need to perform an offline repair (for example, if you have a Windows installation media), follow these steps:

    1. Make sure the installation media is accessible. If you have a WIM file, note its location.
    2. Open a Command Prompt with administrative privileges.
    3. Run the following command, replacing c:\install.wim with the path to your WIM file:
         DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:WIM:c:\install.wim:1 /LimitAccess

    4. After the DISM command completes, run the SFC command again:
         sfc /scannow

    These commands should help repair the corrupted files detected by SFC. If you continue to experience issues, you may need to consider additional troubleshooting steps or seek further assistance.

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Since SFC found corrupted files but was unable to repair some of them, your best option is to perform an In-place Upgrade.

    This procedure reinstalls Windows, which helps fix file corruption and other issues.

    It's a simple procedure, and you have the option to keep files, settings, and apps. Therefore, all your data is kept.

    (If you have a third-party antivirus installed, temporarily disable it during the entire procedure.)

    Download the ISO file to perform the procedure:

    1. Access the link below;

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

    1. Under Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO), click Select download and select Windows 11 (multi-edition ISO for x64 devices);
    2. Click Download;
    3. Choose the language and click on Confirm;
    4. Then, click 64-bit Download.
    5. Wait for the download to finish and proceed to the procedure below.

    After downloading the ISO, do the following:

    1. Double-click the ISO to run;

    (After running the ISO, you may need to double-click the Setup file to start the procedure.)

    1. On the Install Windows 11 screen, uncheck I want to help make the installation of Windows better and select Change how Windows Setup download updates;
    2. On the next screen, select Not right now and click Next;
    3. Accept the terms of use;
    4. On the Ready to install screen, select Choose what to keep and select what you want to keep.

    (It is in this step that you must check Keep personal files and apps so that all your data is kept.)

    1. Click on Install and wait for the procedure to finish. Your computer may restart several times.

    If you get any errors, please let me know.
