Azure Data Factory Dataflow error handling for Dynamics 365 CRM application as sink

In Azure Data Factory Dataflow with sink type as Inline and Inline dataset type as Dynamics 365, there is no option for Continue on Error. The Dataflow and Pipelines fails on the first error from Dynamics 365 CRM application. The Error Tab in sink only has option for Assert failure rows. Assert row transformation is not useful as these errors come for Dynamics 365 CRM application where data cannot be verified in pipeline.
How can error row handling be done in Dataflow with Dynamics 365 sink without failing the pipeline on first error.

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A and thank you for posting your questions here.
Currently, Mapping Data Flows do not support “Continue on error” for Dynamics 365 (Dataverse) sinks. That option is only available for Azure SQL Database and Synapse sinks. With Dynamics 365, any connector/service error (e.g., missing lookup, invalid value, business rule failure) causes the entire data flow and pipeline to fail.There is no built-in row-level error handling for Dynamics 365 inline sinks. To avoid pipeline failure, move error handling outside the sink or validate upstream
Workarounds:
- Stage first, then use Copy Activity:
- Write transformed data to Azure SQL, Synapse, or ADLS.
- Use Copy Activity to load into Dynamics 365 with Fault tolerance → Skip incompatible rows / Log incompatible rows.

- Pre-validate in Data Flow:
- Use Lookup/Join to check related records.
- Apply Assert + Conditional Split to route invalid rows to a separate sink before sending clean rows to Dynamics.
- Batch strategy:
-Partition data into smaller chunks to limit impact if a batch fails.
