If your Windows 11 version 25H2 update keeps failing, there are a few potential reasons and solutions you can consider:

    1. Disk Space: Although you have 137 GB free on your C drive, the yellow exclamation mark might indicate that there are issues with the drive that could affect the update process. Ensure that your disk is healthy and free from errors. You can run the built-in Windows tool to check the disk for errors.
    2. Update Installation Issues: Sometimes, updates fail due to issues with the installation process itself. You can try the following steps:
      • Restart your PC: Sometimes a simple restart can help resolve temporary issues.
      • Use Windows Update Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Windows Update and run the troubleshooter.
      • Install Updates Manually: If the automatic update continues to fail, you can try downloading the update manually from the Microsoft website.
    3. Known Issues: There might be known issues with the update that could be causing the failure. For example, updates installed via the Windows Update Standalone Installer (WUSA) might fail if installed from a shared folder. Make sure you are not using a network share for the update installation.
    4. Workaround: If you are encountering issues with WUSA, save the update files locally on your device and install them from there. Additionally, if you have restarted your device after attempting the update, wait for a while before checking the Update History to see if the update was successful.

If the problem persists, consider checking for any specific error codes that appear during the update process, as these can provide more insight into what might be going wrong.

The most successful method to install version 25H2 is to use the Windows 11 ISO.

Please ensure you download the ISO in the same language as you use for the Windows UI, follow the steps, this is then not like re-installing Windows, it is just like an update and your personal files, settings and installed software will not be affected.

    Click this link:

    https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11

to download the Windows 11 ISO

When the ISO file completes downloading

    Disconnect from the Internet

Disconnect all external devices with the exception of a mouse or keyboard.

Temporarily disable any 3rd party Anti-virus you may have installed

Then, in Windows File Explorer, double click the ISO and then run Setup.exe and select the Install option.

Very Important - ensure you select the option to keep your files and apps.
