I have found that I should edit the registry to reflect the following;

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate

product version 11

target release version 24H2 which translates to 9490

target release version info 0

is this correct and do I need to do something more?

    To address your issue with upgrading to Windows 11, it is important to note that modifying the registry can lead to system issues if not done correctly. While the registry keys you mentioned are related to Windows Update settings, the specific values you need to set for a successful upgrade to Windows 11 are not explicitly detailed in the provided context.

    However, it is crucial to ensure that your system meets the requirements for Windows 11 and that you follow the correct procedures for modifying the registry. If you encounter issues during the upgrade, you may want to consider removing any legacy configuration files or registry entries that could be causing conflicts, as indicated in the context regarding error 0x800F0818 during the upgrade process.

    For a successful upgrade, make sure to back up the registry before making any changes and follow the instructions carefully. If you continue to experience problems, consider consulting additional resources or support for troubleshooting Windows upgrade issues.
