I redeemed a code for a game on my microsoft account, and it shows as its redeemed when I try to redeem it again, but it wont sync to Steam.

Open Xbox app on Windows > Go to your library - the game should be there.

Unfortunately, a Microsoft/Xbox code won't work for Steam. The two versions are different.

You would need to purchase or redeem a separate Steam key for the game.
