Windows 7 Ultimate key can't use in Win 10 Pro

Officially the free upgrade time period to go from Windows 7 or 8 to Windows 10 ended in 2016, however many people were still able to use a Windows 7 or 8 product key to activate Windows 10/11 for years, but in September 2023, Microsoft finally closed that option and since then it is no longer possible to use a Windows 7 or 8 product key to activate Windows 10/11 on new hardware or after performing the upgrade.
