Hi,

I am not able to login to the Azure Portal. I can login the microsoft account but can't access and login the Azure portal due to unavailable auth app that was configured on my old mobile. I don't have access to that mobile now.

Whenever I go to Azure portal, it asks the Authenticator Code that I don't have. I dont know why it is not routing me towards my email authentication or sending code to my mobile number. In the microsoft security (where I can login) my, my email and mobile numbers are configured.

Please note that I am the only admin and this is for my perfonal account.

Regards,

Atif

To regain access to your Azure Portal without the Authenticator app, you can follow these steps:

    1. Use Alternative Verification Methods: If you have set up other security verification options (like email or SMS), try selecting Other verification options on the sign-in page to use those methods instead.
    2. Contact an Admin: If you are part of an organization, ask another global admin to reset your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) settings. They can do this by going to the Azure portal, selecting your user account, and managing the authentication methods.
    3. Reset MFA Settings: If you are the only admin, you may need to contact Microsoft support for assistance in resetting your MFA settings. You can reach out to the Azure Data Protection team or the Microsoft 365 Data Protection team for help.
    4. Check User Settings: If you have access to the Microsoft security settings through another account, ensure that your email and mobile numbers are correctly configured. This might help in receiving codes for verification.

If these options do not work, contacting Microsoft support directly would be the best course of action to regain access to your account.
