Hi!

We are interested in using Anthropic models for our coding assitant and we currently cant send data outside EU. We have noticed Anthropic models are indeed available in Azure but not for our data standard. When will they be available without passing data outside EU?

(I didn't find any child tag for Azure AI Foundry or similar so just put one...)

Best regards,

Simon

    Hello Simon Celinder,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A and Thank you for reaching out.

I understand that you're trying to find out when Anthropic models will be available in the EU West or Sweden Central regions instead of the Global Standard deployment. Currently, Anthropic models are indeed available in specific regions like East US 2 and Sweden Central but are still in the preview phase. However, availability in certain regions can often be limited.

To check the current status and to confirm model availability for your needs, you can follow these steps:

Check Model Availability Documentation: Visit the Azure OpenAI Standard deployment model availability to see detailed information on which models are available in which regions.

Refer to the Region Availability Section: Make sure to check out the region-specific availability section to get the latest information on when models might become available.

Consider Deployment Options: Missing the required models in your region might mean you'd have to temporarily use a different area or wait until those models are available in your targeted region.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a direct way to request models in regions where they aren't currently offered, so it's best to keep an eye on the announcements or updates from Azure regarding these services.
