To type in Hindi on Windows, you can use the Hindi Input Method Editor (IME) which allows you to enter text using the Devanagari script. Here’s how you can set it up:

1. Add Hindi Language Support:
   • Open Settings and select Time & language > Language & region.
   • Click on Add a language and select Hindi from the list, then click Next and Install.
2. Install Hindi Phonetic IME (optional):
   • On the Language & region page, select the Options (...) icon next to Hindi and then select Language options.
   • Click on Add a keyboard and choose Hindi Phonetic.
3. Switching Keyboards:
   • You can switch between installed layouts by pressing the Windows logo key + Spacebar or by selecting the system tray icon and choosing the layout from the list.
4. Typing in Hindi:
   • If you’re using the Hindi Phonetic IME, select it from the system tray and type the transliteration of the Hindi words using English keys. The IME will convert your input into Devanagari script suggestions.
   • If you’re using the Hindi Traditional keyboard, select it and type using the corresponding keys for the Devanagari letters.
